UnprovenNot explained, but no evidence it is alien either. Usually too little data.

The claim
"The government finally released its UFO files, so the truth must be in there."
Where the idea comes from
On 19 February 2026 the President ordered agencies to identify and release UAP records. The interagency PURSUE program publishes them on war.gov/UFO.
What the evidence shows
- Seven releases so far: 8 May (162 files), 22 May, 12 June (72), 10 July (40), 7 August (41), 18 September (71) and 23 October 2026 (28).
- They include Apollo and Gemini astronaut reports, FBI and CIA files, Energy Department records (such as the 1949 "green fireballs" over Los Alamos), Project Blue Book audio and recent military videos.
- Most cases are labelled "unresolved" because of insufficient data, not because they show anomalous technology.
- None of the files released so far contains proof of alien craft, bodies or technology.
What is still open
More releases are promised, and Congress is pressing for AARO's historical report volume 2. Raw sensor data, not summaries, is what would matter.
Our verdict
Unproven More data than ever, still no smoking gun.
